Chipton-Ross is seeking a Final Assembly Inspector 2 for an opportunity in Beltsville, MD.
Inspects mechanical final assembly installations of the aircraft such as fuselage, wings, flaps, landing gears, and tail assemblies. Inspects systems such as hydraulic, pneumatic, oil, heat, and brakes. Visually and physically inspects electrical installations. Rechecks work after adjustment or repair. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports. Inspects mechanical in - process and final assembly. Visually and physically inspects bonded assemblies and electrical installations. Rechecks work after adjustment or repair. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports.
High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience.
Proficient in use of CMM's is a requested skillset as well as knowledge of GD & T.
Use of electronic databases and electronic work instructions is a requirement as well as basic computer skills.
High school diploma or equivalent/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
