Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician for an opening in Courtland, AL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fabricating, modifying, repairing electrical/electronic systems, and performing limited over-braiding functions.

- Using associated equipment and tools to include but not limited to: soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, meggers, heat guns and banding equipment

- Working from schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams

- Using a wide variety of materials dictated by engineering requirements

- Keeping own work area clean and orderly

Ability to work from schematics or blueprints or wiring diagrams - Ability to use soldering irons or wire strippers or crimpers or multimeters or meggers or heat guns and banding equipment -

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent with 6 - 12 months experience of electrical manufacturing

SHIFT:
Work schedule Monday-Thursday 6:30 am - 5:15 pm, potential occasional 2nd shift my be required

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
