Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an IT Technician for an opening in Goose Creek, SC.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installs computer hardware, telephones, printers, copiers, time scanners, etc. as directed
by the IT Administrator
Establishes and maintains an updated and accurate inventory listing of all company
computers and other technical assets
Sets up new users with network logons and email access
Identifies areas of operation that need upgraded equipment to meet company
requirements
Assists with maintaining company cell phones
Trains users to operate hardware and other equipment as needed
Observes and reports equipment performance deficiencies, coordinates equipment
repairs, and suggests alternate hardware devices as needed
Coordinates physical layout of equipment
Prepares and monitors hardware maintenance schedules and procedures
Prepares/performs various administrative reports/activities
Performs duties with little to no supervision
All other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a minimum of 2 years of related IT experience
A+ Certified
Must have accurate administrative skills and an eye for details
Must possess a positive attitude and personality
Good problem solving skills in math
Must have the ability to learn, understand and apply 5S standards
Ability to read and speak English
Must have basic knowledge of the metric & imperial (fraction & decimals) systems
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. without assistance

TRAVEL
Ability to travel between multiple company locations (local) and travel out of state for training as
needed.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal customers, vendors, or
external customers. Ability to speak and write in English. Ability to effectively present information
to top management.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and
decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs. Ability to learn
and apply Imperial and Metric system computations.

REASONING ABILITY
Requires analytical knowledge; ability to define and troubleshoot problems, collect data, establish
facts, draw valid conclusions and apply corrective actions.

EDUCATION:
Minimum of 2 years of related IT experience and A+ Certified

SHIFT:
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
