- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Writer for an opening in Santa Clarita, CA.
Has experience writing manufacturing documents and understanding of some basic technical terms.
Write technical work instructions, SOPs, or maintenance instructions on systems related to bioreactors, controllers, pcba assemblies, cable assemblies, calibration of equipment or sub-assemblies. SOPs can also be new processes related. Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or personnel. Work closely with production personnel to create very detail oriented work instructions. Create work flow chart. Use photographs, mechanical/electrical drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material within the work instructions. Accurately transcribes information provided from a draft document. Provide training to manufacturing technical staff. Create ECOs.
Candidate will be highly detail-oriented and organized. Candidate to display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to be on the manufacturing floor for long period of time to watch and learn processes. Experience with Agile document control or similar preferred. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Knowledgeable and efficient with Microsoft Office applications. Advance proficiency level in Microsoft Word. Prior experience working with production and automated test equipment preferred. Able to work in production environment. Experience in managing priorities and schedule.
Minimum 2 or 4 years technical degree from an accredit school or university
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
