Chipton-Ross is seeking an Industrial Engineer for an opening in Rochester, NY.

SUMMARY:
The Industrial Engineer will find ways to prevent waste and inefficiency in production processes. They will design efficient systems that integrate workers, information, machines, energy and materials to make products or provide services. The industrial engineer will also design equipment to coordinate production planning to minimize production issues and costs while ensuring products meet quality standards. They will design, develop and maintain manufacturing routes to maximize effectiveness, efficiency and space. The industrial engineer will also make sure the company complies with all industry standards for safety while meeting design standards and guidelines. Key Responsibilities:Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and servicesCreate processes to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiencyDevelop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficientEnact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costsWork with customers and management to develop standards for design and productionDesign control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that products meet quality standardsConfer with clients about product specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of projectsMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:Must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in industrial engineering or related fieldMust have strong critical thinking, analysing and problem solving skillsMust have the ability to effectively communicate (verbal and in writing) complex information and data.Position requires occasional work in a clean room environment, which requires ability to wear clean room PPE as required.Other Job Requirements:Adhere to OHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment The Industrial Engineer will find ways to prevent waste and inefficiency in production processes. REQUIREMENTS:
Must have strong critical thinking, analysing and problem solving skills. Must have the ability to effectively communicate (verbal and in writing) complex information and data. Position requires occasional work in a clean room environment, which requires ability to wear clean room PPE as required. Adhere to OHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment

EDUCATION:
Accredited bachelor’s degree, preferably in industrial engineering or related field.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
