Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a remote opportunity in Dallas, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a knowledgeable Software Developer with experience in Windows 10 Device Driver (WDM) development. There are custom device driver updates that are required for a PCIExpress Serial / Digital I/O card used within a Aircraft Platform Integration Test System.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum (Basic) Requirements –
Develop and maintain Windows kernel device drivers for serial I/O cards
Experience with Visual Studio 2015 (or later), WDK 10 and Microsoft C/C++
WDF and KMDF driver development, integration and debugging
Co-ordinate with development team to ensure that different issues are resolved.
Write automated test suites and implement valid and complete testing for each assigned software component
Document the specifications, test procedures and results
Manage source code and release using Git
Estimate and commit to 100% completion for sprint objectives
Desired Experience
Experience with Electrical and/or Software Design for Aerospace Applications
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
SHIFT:
4/10Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
