Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Flight Controls Engineer for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience & expert knowledge of aircraft dynamics and subsystem modeling techniques for non-real-time and real-time applications
Prior experience with MATLAB/Simulink
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:
Flight Control Systems/Vehicle Management System experience
Experience developing software architecture and development plans for an air vehicle OFP
Experience with the development of VMS lab requirements
Experience leading VMS HW team members in developing overall VMS architecture
Experience with defining autocode requirements and plans
Experience developing flight control 6-DOF simulation
Define simulation requirements (offline and lab)
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
Engineering Degree in Aeronautics/Aerospace or other related engineering degree or related engineering or technical field

MISCELLANEOUS:
