Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Software Application Developer/Testers for a contract/hybrid in Englewood, CO.
*This position is HYBRID.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications architectures and participate in evaluation of test performance data. Provides data, recommendations, and estimates for software component level project planning including corrective action plans. Develops, selects, tailors, and deploys contemporary processes and frameworks ensuring continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). Performs special test procedures as required to support failure investigation. Develops test procedures, and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan. Supports operational and integration issue resolution. Helps resolve programmatic, technical and operational problems that would impact cost, schedule and/or performance and performs root cause analysis on software issues. Provide expertise on software methodologies and processes to internal/external customers. Supports implementation of best practices within the software development processes. Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer. Takes appropriate action based upon test data results. Prepares test and configuration documentation. Coordinates the staging of test hardware. Participates in test readiness reviews, safety reviews, test plan reviews and test case reviews. Configures software for data acquisition and analysis. Prepares daily execution plans for effective use of all test resources. Prepares test reports. Provides input to lessons learned and performance metrics to improve future testing. Archives data and reports as required.

All at least 1 year of experience:
o Python
o SQL
o PostGres
o Linux
o XML
o C/C++
o Automated testing
o Manual testing
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Azure
o Relational Databases
o 3 years automated testing
o 3 years manual testing
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree (preferred) or a High School Diploma/GED (required).
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
