Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer II for a remote contract opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position will be a member of the Aeronautics Sustainment team and participate in support of multiple applications as part of a 3-6 person Kanban team. This position involves maintaining and supporting of internally developed enterprise applications which leverage Solaris, Cybase scripting, and some Active CGM. Demonstrate strong problem solving and communication skills through interactions with management, leads, customers, and team regarding schedule progress, impacts, and concerns.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
· Develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications which support key Aeronautics Programs and Functional Organizations
· Develop code which interacts with MSSQL Server databases
· Develop scripts and templates required for the automatic provisioning of resources. Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
· Manage working on multiple concurrent projects with numerous deliverables simultaneously. Coordinates tasks with other project team members as appropriate.

Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 1st Shift
RMTEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
