Chipton-Ross is seeking 8 Assembler C's for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications
o Computer literacy
o 7+ Years of Experience
o 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
o Be on a "travel" team
o Flight readiness
o A&P License (A&P is more of a hard preference rather than a requirement.)
o Experience with exterior panels, paint, sealant, ti-foil
o Experience with composite repair
o Knowledge of aircraft systems (power, hydraulics, IFE (in-flight entertainment), troubleshooting
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
The training consists of a combination of instructor-led and web-based training. It includes classroom style and hands-on application to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the material.
TOP 3-5 TECHNICAL/SOFTWARE SKILLS:
o Aircraft maintenance
o Systems repair
o Functional test/operational test
o Systems Installations
o IFE - In Flight Entertainment maintenance and test
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.). Education must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
