Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Support Coordinator for a contract opportunity in St. Louis, MO.

SUMMARY:
You will work in a team-based environment to ensure the efficient movement of materials in support of shift/daily schedules. Deliver timely material staging in support of production work orders and ensure accurate and timely transaction of material movements, ensuring optimal use of all team resources and tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate demonstrates a sense of urgency, contagious optimism and a "can do" attitude. They lead by example and hold themselves and others accountable, while maintaining productive and professional relationships within the team. The primary responsibilities are as follows:
Safeguard against loss of materials and adhere to corrective action protocol for lost materials.
Ensure accurate and timely transaction of material movements, ensuring optimal use of all team resources and tools.
Support the continuous improvement of all related processes for materials movements, transaction execution, and inventory accuracy.
Work with stakeholders to optimize processes and interactions between scheduling, floor controllers, and production floor.
Adhere to all safety and quality standards established in process documentation.
Pursue Best Practices with the members of the team
Ensure safe working environment and enforce all relevant safety practices.
Identify potential issues in a process; report findings to team management and participate in troubleshooting and resolution process.
Ensure proactive and effective communication within the team and with other stakeholders and partners.
Actively support Continuous Improvement, Lean Mfg, and 5S related projects and initiatives as identified by specific initiatives and charters.
Participate in problem solving teams to address problems as they arise. Actively contribute to inter-team and inter-departmental problem-solving teams.
Pursue all relevant training requirements as part of a highly flexible cross-trained workforce. Working in controlled environment PPE required (hair net/safety glasses/scrubs/gloves/safety shoes.) Will be required to periodically gown up in a bunny suit for daily cycle counting. Longest duration inside of cleanroom is 10 minutes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o At least two years of relevant experience in inventory management, material staging, and production scheduling. Experience in life sciences, biotech, or similar preferred
o Transactional experience with ERP systems required
oWorking knowledge of manufacturing related computer software (preferred)
oIntermediate Excel skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
oRegularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift weight of 45 pounds or more, with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time- 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
3-2-2 schedule 06:00am-06:30pm
First week will train Monday to Friday Business hours.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
