Chipton-Ross is seeking 8 Composite and Metals Assembler A's for a contract opportunity in Salt Lake City, UT.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Proven experience in composite and metals assembly, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
o Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
o Familiarity with various assembly techniques and tools used in composite and metal fabrication.
o Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a skilled composite and metals assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling components using both composite materials and metals, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.

o Assemble composite and metal components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
o Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for assembly tasks.
o Conduct inspections of assembled parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
o Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
o Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
o Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
o Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
o Regular and predictable attendance is required.
o Successful completion of training is a contingency for all assignments? Classroom and on the job training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 35 lbs.).
o Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
o Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of training is a contingency for all assignments? Classroom and on the job training.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., high school diploma/GED).

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

ADDITIONAL:
Possible OT opportunities.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
