- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Candidate must be able to read/write English
Candidate must take and pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Experience with conformal coating, bonding & hand masking.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift
Mon-Thurs 5:00 AM EST - 3:30 PM EST
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
