Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sales Associate for a contract opportunity in Santa Monica, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Minimum of 3 years of Retail experience including customer service skills.
o Exposure to business operations preferred.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Analytical and data driven mindset.
o Intermediate Excel experience/skill.
o Responsible, professional, pro-active, independent.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o RETAIL STORE OPERATIONS
o High standard of customer service.
o Being knowledgeable of our products to answer questions related to product features, sizing, pricing, and store policies as well as locating items for customers.
o Managing cash registers and processing payments.
o Maintain product merchandising and display to a high standard.
o Maintain high level of store presentation - both store floor, dressing room, and stock.
o Analyze sales and revenue reports and derive sales forecasts.
o Maintenance and management of POS ("Point of Sales") system.
o Processing internal orders.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
o Inventory management such as product item setup, inbound/outbound shipment management, picking and packing orders, etc.
o Closely monitor the stock level to support forecasting stock and to secure a proper replenishment.
o Support inventory audit, conducting stock take once a year.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS:
Part-Time- Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM but we may change the hours to 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
