Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Handler II for a contract opportunity in Hillsboro, OR.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
o Computer proficiency: Internet, Microsoft Excel, Outlook
o Inventory system or ERP is a plus
o Ability to work in a Cleanroom environment for entirety of shift
o Well-organized and ability to multi-task efficiently
o Thorough and able to document accurately
o Good general understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
o Strong communication skills with the ability to routinely interact effectively with inside customers in a friendly and respectful manner via phone, email and in-person
o Able to work both independently as well as to have good communication in a team
o Able to work effectively in fast-paced environment
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Conduct and accurately record daily Cycle Counts.
o Provide upbeat customer service to Production personnel.
o Pull daily work orders per approved process applying approved ESD and cleanliness guidelines.
o Move and transact inventory material per process.
o Transact Quality Control documents per process for the warehouse.
o Assist with all shipping/receiving/work order management functions as time permits or as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally, using appropriate lifting techniques
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High school diploma or equivalent required.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 6:00A M to 2:30 PM onsite with frequent OT.
Weekend work is frequent.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
