Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Quality Engineer 3's for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
O 3+ years' experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or another regulated industry
O 3+ years' experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution processes
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Client Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides Quality interpretation of requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general direction.
O Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance.
O Perform data analysis of defect trends and present findings and recommendations.
O Lead projects to identify root cause and eliminate defects and rework.
O Execute quality build plan changes.
O Recommend corrective actions to address non-conformances.
O Perform engineering change review and verification.
O Continuous improvement of quality engineering processes.
O Regular and predictable attendance is required.
O Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. If they do not meet this requirement, please withdraw them from consideration ASAP.
WORK HOURS:
FULL-TIME/FIRST SHIFT 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
OT as needed.
ADDITIONAL:
This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
