Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity Chandler, AZ.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7 years of circuit design experience, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of circuit design experience.
o Experience with schematic capture, PWB layout software and DFM tools.
o Circuit modeling and simulation experience, such as Spice/PSpice
o Working knowledge of standard test equipment: network analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, synthesizers, digitizers, and/or signal analyzers.
o Working knowledge in one of the following languages: MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.
o Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
o Demonstrated ability to use basic manual tools.
o Demonstrated ability to write design document, such as component specifications and test procedures.
o This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.
o Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance per business requirements.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for an Electrical Engineer - Analog/Mixed signal circuit design to support our Avionics Design Group (ADG). As a member of ADG you'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside other design, test and systems engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site at Launch and Missile Defense Systems in Chandler, AZ.
Responsibilities:
o Support the design, development and test of avionics for launch vehicles and the associated automated test equipment.
o Model, simulate and evaluate circuits, and document with analyses in support of design.
o Generate design documents, specifications, user's manuals and test procedures for avionics.
o Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate issues to support development and full-scale production.
o Communicate project status to the program and stakeholders.
o Collaborate with other designers and systems engineers to perform system architecture characterization studies on various system components.
o Design, develop, and implement testing methods and procedures for individual pieces of equipment.
o Compile data and help to define changes required in testing methodology, equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, and new testing requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience with Cadence Capture CIS and Allegro design suite.
o Familiarity with CAM350
o Familiarity with motor control circuit design
o Active secret security clearance.
o Worst-Case and Sneak Circuit analysis experience
o Familiarity with VHDL and tools.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
9/80 workweek.
