Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Labor I for a contract opportunity in Marysville, WA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
2+ years relevant, steady work history preferred.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English is required.
Have legible handwriting/printing and good basic math skills.
Highly motivated and be able to work independently or as a team member to complete tasks in a timely manner.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shearing and stretching of hobes.
Loading sheets into the machine.
Monitoring the production process.
Other duties as assigned and flexibility is key.
The duties of this job are physically demanding.
Forklift and overhead crane operation (training provided).
Basic housekeeping duties and basic machine maintenance.
Active participation in operational improvement activities.
Willing to cross train or transfer to other departments as needed.
Other task as needed and flexibility is key.
Willing to work overtime as needed. This will include weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to push/pull/lift 80+ pounds (two person lift is available).
Wear full-face respirator for certain tasks/duties.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited high school diploma or GED.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 2nd Shift Monday through Friday 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
*Train 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM M-F for 30 days
Willing to work overtime as needed. This will include weekends.

ADDITIONAL:
$20.00/hr then plus $1.25/hr Shift Differential once fully trained and transferred to 2nd Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
