Chipton-Ross is seeking a System & Network Administrator for a contract opportunity in El Segundo, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or equivalent experience.
o Current CompTIA Security+ certification
o Experience in Operating Systems: Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Cisco IOS
o Experience in VMWare Virtualization
o Experience in Enterprise Storage

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position, you'll contribute to a team responsible for the hardening, deployment, automation, setup, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
o Provides Factory Floor support to multiple Programs; defining & documenting Test setups, Deploying Test Software & Configurations, Troubleshooting, communicating/coordinating program requests, and supporting requests from the team to improve effectiveness, efficiency, productivity
o Develops, implements, and sustains tools that enable product security requirements
o Utilizes agile methodologies to plan, execute, and track product security statement of work
o Develops and enhances system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements
o Configures and ensures security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support
o This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o ITIL 4 certification
o Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
o Experience in Satellite Test and STE Operations Readiness
o Experience in Cyber Security
o Experience in Redhat and Oracle Linux servers, Windows XP - Windows 7,10, 11 OS and network-based storage system
o Experience in certifying PTEX (Payload Test Executive) and MTEX (Modular Test Executive) Test Servers
o Experience in certifying Automated Test Controller (ATC) Server and Client
o Current CompTIA Network+ certification

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

TRAVEL
Possible 5 to 10% domestic travel.

WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT; Candidate must be open to working 1st, 2nd or 3rd must be available for all shifts, plus one weekend day a week.

ADDITIONAL

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
