- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a contract opportunity in St. Paul, MN.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level role
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members
Must be able to understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions, including words in English and drawings
Must be able to perform basic mathematics
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines, including but not limited to:
Washing components or equipment
Wrapping components and/or equipment for sterilization
Assembling or gluing of components
Packaging and sealing of devices
Preparing devices for sterilization
Final packaging or labeling of products
Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP standards
Operate general production equipment such as sealers, autoclave, and stir plates
Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary
Adhere to all safety protocols and wear proper safety gear at all times while on the manufacturing or warehouse floor
Maintain reliable attendance
Learn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Complete required training in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level role
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
WORK HOURS:
Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (approximately 8 hours of overtime each week)
As overtime eases, the normal schedule will be Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
