Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Tool Engineer 2's for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
High school diploma or equivalent and 2 + years of relevant experience.
Experience shall be in in medium to large scale tooling fabrication and/or production fabrication including composites, metallic, coatings application, and/or production manufacturing operations.
Direct Aerospace Tooling experience
Communication and team player.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Tool Engineer shall work with internal/external customers, and colleagues to ensure that the tool meets the customer needs and see it through each phase of the engineering process (Design, Fabrication, and Implementation).
o Execution/Lead/Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external.
o Experience shall be in in medium to large scale tooling fabrication and assembly, and/or production fabrication including composites, metallic, coatings application, and/or production manufacturing operations.
o Direct experience working in with 3D CAD e.g. CATIA, NX, CREO etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o STEM Degree (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematical).
o Composite experience and process knowledge.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
