- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Control Clerk for a contract opportunity in Bristol, PA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Basic computer operation skills to include file/folder organization, uploading and saving documents, use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Control Clerk, under supervision, prepares and scans various documents for electronic retention purposes. This particular position will report to the Quality Department to support scanning of Receiving Inspection and Production documents.
Essential Functions:
Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, and other items that inhibit optimal image scanning. Sort documents to ensure scanning in the correct order. Upload documents to the correct location on local system. Confirm scanning is complete and accurate, checking the quality of the digital copy, and compiling the scanned documents back in the correct order.Work inside TipQA software, researching history, assisting QE and QC. Assist with everyday Quality Control activities when required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Prior experience using document scanning/copying equipment preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pound boxes. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers are required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS:
Part to Full Time
32-40 hours a week/every other Friday off/flexible with candidate availability.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
