Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Process Engineer for a contract opportunity in Cincinnati, OH.

This position is 100% onsite.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
6-8 Years of experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Oversee industrialization projects for Aircraft Engines.
o Manage and support 's New Product Introduction (NPI) processes at various suppliers.
o Lead the Industrial Validation Process from project kick-off to validation of product and process robustness.
o Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain) to achieve industrial validation.
o Prepare final validation packages with suppliers, including First Article Inspection (FAI) and Validation Dossier (DVI).
o Monitor action plans to ensure alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
o Identify potential production or project deviations, define action plans, propose solutions, and manage implementation.
o Ensure suppliers adhere to correct specifications and quality documents.
o Validate corrective actions with suppliers and teams.
o Implement necessary metrics and indicators to track industrialization projects.
o Support suppliers in developing recovery plans and solutions.
o Develop and maintain key relationships with turbine airfoil suppliers and their respective teams.
Ensure Smooth Transition to Production:
o Prioritize supplier support to ensure dedicated capacity for .
o Collaborate with suppliers on production certification through DVI and FAI procedures.
o Assist suppliers in ramping up production capacities.
o Report and address logistics and quality issues encountered during development.
Improve Product KPIs:
o Facilitate communication between design engineers and suppliers to ensure manufacturable product definitions.
o Encourage concurrent engineering approaches when beneficial.
o Manage the reduction of non-quality events in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and suppliers.
o Support Purchasing and Quality teams with technical aspects of NPI production.
o Assess new suppliers' capabilities in industrialization and production of NPI.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
o 3+ years in blades casting and manufacturing production
o Experience in aeronautical casting alloys (Nickel and Cobalt base).
o Experience in aerospace industry and supplier relations
o Skills:
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Project management expertise.
o Ability to travel frequently (20% to 35% of the time) to various suppliers in the USA.
o Proficiency in production tools analysis.
o Ability to anticipate actions and questions.
o Flexibility and adaptability to different locations and needs.
o Technical drawing reading skills.
o Miscellaneous:
o Proficiency in Windows tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
o Confidentiality regarding activities and action plans.
o French language skills are appreciated but not mandatory.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
