Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Wire Bonders for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have experience with wire bonding of microelectronic components using both manual and automatic bonding equipment. Must be familiar with gold ball and ribbon bonding techniques. Must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Must be comfortable working under a microscope for the duration of the shift. Must possess basic computer skills and be able to navigate digital systems for timekeeping and task confirmation. Must be able to work with various hand and pneumatic tools. High attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability required. High School Diploma or GED required. Interim Secret clearance required to start.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fabricate microelectronic components and sub-assemblies by performing wire and ribbon bonding using bonding machines. Use microscopes and measuring instruments to meet quality requirements. Read and interpret assembly instructions and work processes. Maintain accurate data entry related to production. Use hand tools including tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, and screwdrivers. Follow ESD procedures and adhere to safety and quality standards.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards. Knowledge of ESD protocols. Experience with test equipment. Team-oriented mindset with a strong desire for continuous improvement.

Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
4/10A-1st Shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday)
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
