Chipton-Ross is seeking a Field Engineer for a contract opportunity in Gilbert, AZ.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have 3-5 years of experience in repairs of electro-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies.
Must have experience with avionics and electronics principles, CCA component rework and repair, and troubleshooting/fault isolation using automated or general-purpose test equipment.
Must be able to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, test and repair procedures.
Must have experience with industrial standards, military specifications, and industry processes.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to lift 35 pounds, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs depot-level repairs, modifications, and refurbishments of components in the Modernized Target Designation Sight/Pilotage Night Vision System (M-TADS/M-PNVS). Operates test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, network analyzers, and waveform generators. Performs mechanical rework using milling machines and drill presses. Documents work in automated maintenance systems. Provides technical feedback to promote reliability improvements.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of automated and general-purpose test equipment, fault isolation for electro-mechanical and electro-optical components, and hardware repair concepts. Military flight-line maintenance experience preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited BS+3-5 YRS or MS+0-3 YRS
WORK HOURS:
4/10A-1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
