Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Littleton, CO.
There is an opportunity to be hired full-time with the client.
OT is not authorized for this position.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have ability to obtain a secret clearance
Extensive experience with Big Data
Experience with Apache Hadoop or AWS
Experience with relational databases
Expertise in Java full-stack development
Knowledge of Telemetry systems and processing
Experience with systems integration
Experience with anomaly investigation and resolution
Willingness for off-hours support to ensure lab productivity
Ability to contribute within a team-oriented environment to achieve long-range goals and objectives
Solid written or verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop software engineering solutions for Orion's Ground Support Tools software team
Apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to develop, enhance, or troubleshoot software
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledgeable in Python
Experience with Agile and DevOps processes
Ability to assist users and lab managers with data analysis
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
WORK HOURS:
4/10-1st Shift
HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
