Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Manassas, VA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience building and populating electronics subassemblies
Ability to route cables and conduct continuity and resistance checks
Experience performing pressure, Hi-Pot, and impedance tests
Ability to assist with customer and quality inspections
Familiarity with engineering drawings, electronic work instructions, and verbal/written instructions
Experience using torque wrenches, hand tools, hand trucks, and specialized testing equipment
Comfortable working with compounds and solutions such as epoxies, isopropyl, acetone.
Adherence to ESD and PPE requirements (e.g., safety glasses, ESD equipment)
Ability to maintain accurate records including timekeeping and safety training
Basic computer skills for accessing work instructions, logging discrepancies, recording time, scheduling tasks, and email communication
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a variety of tasks in manufacturing and final assembly
Prepare units for customer delivery
Support inspections and testing processes
Maintain safety and administrative compliance on the manufacturing floor
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with corrosive agents and safety protocols
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and quality standards
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
May require weekend overtime (Friday and Saturday)Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
