Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Cable/Harness Technician 1's for a contract opportunity in Sierra Vista, AZ.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
o Must be a US Citizen.
o Strong attention to detail.
o Ability to work under limited supervision.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
looking for a Cable/Harness Technician 1 to support our on-site wire harness manufacturing Center of Excellence.
Responsibilities:
o Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, fabricating wire harnesses, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, and components.
o Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
o Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and tape measures for fabricating hardware.
o Reads and interprets work instructions, schematics, wire lists, and drawings.
o Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
o Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification.
o J-STD-001 Certification.
o Ability to multitask, prioritize.
o Experience or familiarity with ISO requirements, standards, and compliance issues.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
9/80 workweek. 100% On-Site. . This position is located in Sierra Vista, Arizona.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
