Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opening in Ft. Worth, TX. Position is fully on-site.
REQUIREMENTS
Active SECRET with an investigation in the last 5 years or CE enrollment. Special Access required to start.
10+ years of hands on embedded C++ development.
10+ years of algorithm implementation and verification (Matlab experience desired).**
5+ years of Fusion development or Kalman Filter application.**
5+ years of Radar development/integration.**
5+ years of Visual Studio experience.
5+ years of Windows or Linux experience.
-- Required Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
-- Experience with programming languages such as C, C+, and MATLAB
-- Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience – (Windows & Linux)
-- Experience with developing sensor modes and algorithms
-- Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client team is looking for a Radar Mode Development Engineer/Sensor Fusion Algorithm Developers with a background in sensor mode and algorithm development to support current development efforts. The successful applicant will be responsible development of new radar modes that enhance aircraft-based sensor fusion capabilities. This position will contribute to software requirements, algorithms, mode design, reviews, and test of operational flight programs respective to radar based sensor fusion algorithms.
Applicant will be a software developer responsible for embedded software definition, design, development and integration to support real-time embedded avionics software projects. The applicant will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and integrating software. Develop, analyze, integrate, and test embedded software for the Fusion team. Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of operational flight programs. Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.

-- Strong knowledge of radar systems specifically pertaining to active electronically scanned arrays (AESA)
-- Strong algorithm development experience that includes radar systems, sensor fusion, tracking algorithms, radar mode development & analysis, and signal processing techniques
-- Previous aircraft tracker development experience including development of Kalman Filtering techniques and processing of sensor measurements is a plus
-- Previous experience designing to software requirements
