Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an IT Asset Management Support for a contract opportunity in Topeka, KS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
High School Diploma and 2 years of related experience preferred
Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift, move, and carry 10–50 lbs consistently
Understanding of IT hardware and technical terms (minimum 1 year)
Experience working with IT or other ticketing systems (minimum 1 year)
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to perform physical functions of the role, including warehouse and delivery tasks

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Physically deliver IT hardware throughout the organization
Assist with shipping, receiving, distributing, tracking, and reconciling POs or service requests
Transport and deliver goods in an Evergy vehicle to various locations (same-day trips)
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness
Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles
Answer questions from employees and contractors regarding deliveries
Reschedule deliveries as needed and provide delivery schedule updates
Complete and submit logs and reports
Assist with data disposition and follow NERC/CIP regulatory requirements

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Prior delivery or driving experience
Familiarity with warehouse operations and IT asset handling

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
1st Shift
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM CST

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
