Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience with masking and protecting components during coating processes
Ability to apply thermal barrier coatings using manual, semi-automatic, or robotic spray systems
Experience cleaning and maintaining coating tools and equipment
Ability to follow and complete work instructions and contribute to process improvement
Strong attention to detail and precision in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read and interpret CMMs
Understanding of safety protocols and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to use computers
Must be able to read and write English
Must pass a vision exam as outlined in the supplier guide

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies
Assemble modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
Use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws
Conduct continuity checks and quality inspections
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies under simulated conditions

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in paint processes, paint shops, and paint systems
Familiarity with blueprint reading and paint process techniques

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
2nd Shift
Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM EST
Overtime available on weekends

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
