Chipton-Ross is seeking a Field Technician for a contract opportunity in Rewdstone Arsenal Military Base, AL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Familiarity with gasoline and diesel engines Troubleshooting skills on vehicles Ability to read and write English Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide Must be a U.S. CitizenPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment Perform maintenance and technical support on products, integrated systems, and subsystems at customer and/or field locations Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to minimize downtime Install, upgrade, and remove products while coordinating engineering field changes Maintain effective customer communication and relations Provide onsite training to customer support personnel as neededPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience as a diesel mechanic working on bulldozers or large diesel engines Experience with gasoline and/or diesel engine maintenanceREQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or EquivalentWORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule 1st ShiftEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
