Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking 7 (seven) APG Mechanics for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have at least 4-6 years Aircraft Crew Chief/Mechanic experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
F-16 Production Final Assembly and Checkout Technican-As the Production FACO APG, F-16 Technician you will be responsible for Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
The Production FACO APG, F-16 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:
• Landing gear.
• Powerplants.
• Flight controls.
• Fueling/Defueling.
• Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
4-6 years of experience with aircraft systems operation.
F-16, Fighter experience a Plus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Must Be able to work-
1st Shift (5:30am-4pm), 2nd Shift (3pm-1:30am) Monday- Thursday, or Weekend 1st Shift (5:30am-4pm), 2nd Shift (3pm-1:30am) Thurs-Sunday or Friday-Monday,

ADDITIONAL:
Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
