Chipton Ross is seeking an Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician for a contract opportunity in Batesville, IN.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician to join our Manufacturing Test Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, development, and production of innovative manufacturing test systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical and electronic devices, mechanical devices, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Associate degree or 3+ years of experience in a related field. (e.g., Electronics, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, etc.). o Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry. o Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations. o Experience in using electronic test equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, as well as hand tools, soldering and assembly equipment. o Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. o Experience in using software, such as LabVIEW, TestStand, or other test automation tools is preferred. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing. o Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement, including the ability to accurately read and interpret technical documentation, such as schematics and test procedures. o Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Collaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineers to understand design requirements and translate them into manufacturing test processes. o Assemble and integrate various components of automated test systems, including hardware, software, and instrumentation. o Build and support validation of test manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. o Operate and maintain test manufacturing equipment, making necessary adjustments to optimize production efficiency and quality. o Participate in the improvement of test manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to enhance productivity and reduce costs. o Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the testing process. o Conduct preventive maintenance activities on manufacturing test process and document work per required quality procedures o Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, equipment settings, and production data. o Execute test system validation protocols to ensure test system accuracy, reliability andREQUIRED EDUCATION:
Associate degree or 3+ years of experience in a related field. (e.g., Electronics, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, etc.).WORK HOURS:
First Shift, Full TimeEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
