Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Software Engineers for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
  • 5 years of Python scripting experience
    • 5 years of software development in a Linux •environment (SUSE or RedHat) 5 years of functional test case development
  • 2 years of experience authoring software requirements
  • 2 years of experience with GitLab pipelines
  • 2 years of experience using Jira for software development tracking
  • 2 years of experience with Agile software development
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt schedule based on test station availability
    • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review functional requirements and determine "Happy Path" and "Corner Case" scenarios
  • Create software test scripts in Python or SWAT (Lockheed proprietary scripting language) for safety-critical qualification testing
  • Perform Software Quality Testing (SQT) onsite in labs
  • Create Software Test Reports and host reviews with internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and update scripts for software defects
    • Contribute to test automation efforts by automating existing manual test cases
  • Create and update automation pipelines
  • Create and update Confluence dashboards using GitLab data

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with SWAT scripting language
  • Experience in test automation frameworks
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline development

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work in lab environments and adapt to flexible schedules

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline

    • WORK HOURS:

  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
