Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Melbourne, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 4-5 years of experience in electrical cable/wiring harness routing on military and/or commercial aircraft, OR o Master's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience in electrical cable/wiring harness routing on military and/or commercial aircraft. o This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. o Self-starter who can work with minimal direction. o Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills o Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project, Visio). o Proficiency in technical communication, both written and verbal, is crucial. o Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a team are often necessary.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a Electromechanical Engineer to apply electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to components and systems, including assembly, analysis, and documentation of results; construction of developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components; and quality testing. Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems. Responsibilities:
o The selected candidate will work in a team environment within the Vehicle Engineering IPT and his/her roles and responsibilities include:
o Support electrical wiring team group with their design needs, support manufacturing with wiring integration, route wiring harnesses in 3D environment in accordance with NG Standard and AS50881, design and release wiring installations. o You will be working with a team of engineers coordinating with multiple disciplines to determine solutions to problems quickly and efficiently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICICATIONS:
o STEM Degree (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematical). o Solid modeling design skills (i.e., NX Siemens, Team Center Enterprise (TcE), CATIA, Solid Works). o Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities. o Experience with designing and integrating components into larger systems. o Experience managing projects (schedule and technical performance).REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) is required. School must be accredited.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 9/80 work week. 100% On-Site.ADDITIONAL:
