Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Specialist 3 for a contract opportunity in New Orleans, LA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Ability to pull, correlate and analyze data from multiple sources and present meaningful metrics to leadership. Ability to collect and manage tasks and actions from multiple sources. Ability to coordinate training activities and material equipment for new hires and employees relocating to the site. - Team is looking for someone who has done staffing/onboarding in the past (HR, working with sensitive PII, onboarding specialists, etc.) - Project management mixed with HR, needs to be highly organized and good at directing others to keep things on track. - This resource will be helping managers with hiring and onboarding 100+ people in MAF and other sites (they will not be recruiting just assisting going through resumes, scheduling interviews, ordering equipment, figuring out logistics for start dates/work spaces/orientations, etc.). - Will work alongside multiple managers and various levels of business.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
SLS Engineering team has a need for support for all of the administration work related to hiring and onboarding people to the MAF site, potentially growing to other sites. Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives. Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project. Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers. Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years 'related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
