Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple MECH TECH P 3 (WELDER) for a contract opportunity in Charleston, SC.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years additional education and/or related experience; Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 3 years of related experience. May require certification. o PPE: Eye and face protection, head protection, foot protection, hand and body protection, hearing protection, and body harness-personal fall arrest systems (PFAS) and position device systems.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys. Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High School Diploma. School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

Full-Time 9/80 workweek.



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
