Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Analyst 2 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience. Master’s Degree and 1 year of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in federal government contracting, compliance, SAP, MS Office Suite, FAR / DFARS, leading and influencing without direct authority.
  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Proven track record of time management, organization, and prioritization to meet / exceed deadlines / commitments.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Bachelor's Degree required. School must be accredited.

    HOURS:
    5/40, First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PM


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
