Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Candidates need to understand this is hands on production work.
•Candidates must posses the ability to climb on fuselage parts, stand, kneel, and go up and down ladders/standsPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.
- F-16 Production line structures and assembly.
- Installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads, skins, and building up fuselage components. Heavy Precision drilling, Countersinking, and reaming precision holes. Must have current or RECENT (within the last 2 years) experience actively drilling precision holes on aircraft. Bench Mechanics need to have other relevant experience to be qualified to support required work.

- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
