Chipton-Ross is seeking a Level 3 Embedded Software Engineer – Device Drivers (PCIe) for a contract opportunity in Pleasanton, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience developing, testing and releasing Windows 11 PCIe device driversPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client has a need to develop a Windows 11 PCIe Driver, inclusive of setting up a build process, testing and signing, for a custom PCIe card.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience developing, testing and releasing Ubuntu and RedHat Linux PCIe device driversREQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelors Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's with 5 or more years' experience, or Master's with 3 or more years’ experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Both must clear prior to start date.
