Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract opening in Huntsville, AL.
REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED SKILLS:
CREO DSR6 (MODEL-BASED DEFINITION) MECHANISMS
RESPONSIBILITIES Designs and oversees testing of mechanical components and mechanisms for launch systems. Assists with planning and executing design modifications and reviews. Needs to be familiar with CREO and DSR6 (Model-based definition) design methodology.
Some travel possible depending on program need (<10%)
Familiarity with tooling/MGSE, welded steel structures, AWS D17.1 and other specifications a plus!
EDUCATION HS/GED
MISCELLANEOUS Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
