Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. Must be from an ABET accredited program.
- PPE: Hard hat, safety glasses and steel toed boots
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
- Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- The team is looking for a mid-career person with field experience and good technical background, with engineering instruction and oversight for certifying and repairing cranes.
- The ideal candidate will have experience and a desire to be in the field, climbing cranes getting involved and good at troubleshooting and interfacing with electricians.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program is required.WORK HOURS:
5/40 workweek. First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
