Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test & Evaluation Lab Technician 3 for a contract opportunity in Seattle, Everett, or Tukwila WA.
100% on site.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
· Regular and predictable attendance is required. · Knowledge of electrical circuit · Knowledgeable in Hardware and Computer Organization · Proficient with MS and UX operation systems · Proficient in Computing Networking and Cybersecurity · Proficient with programing tools: C++, Java, Python, etc. · Revision control tools such as Git · Experience with electrical measurement equipmentPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies. Designs, fabricates, builds and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies. Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities. Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and teardown. Conducts tests, analyzes data and documents results; participates in test readiness reviews. Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems. Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs. Coaches and trains others. Works under general direction.
· Assists engineers and senior technicians with drawings, test system build, test support. · Serve as a crew member for tests support/operation. · Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems. · Maintains lab equipment to ensure all assets are in calibration cycle. · 5S lab areas. · Supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down. · Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
· Understanding of instrumentation and measurement · Knowledge with MS Visio, Zuken wire design tools · Knowledge of power/spectrum analyzer · Familiar with NEC and NFPA 70E. · Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic diagrams and schematicsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift 25Lbs, walk from building to building on campus.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
