Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Ridley Park, PA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

    • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops mechanical systems component detail and assembly designs.
  • Document processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of mechanical system parts and assemblies.
  • Participate in technical review of supplier designs and non-conformances.
  • Analyzes results and support design reviews.
  • Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design.
  • Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
  • Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
  • Supports system components'' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation.
  • Trains others.
  • Works under general direction.

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Hydraulics or Environmental controls experience is a plus.
    • REQUIRED EDUCATION Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

    WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
