Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Ridley Park, PA.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops mechanical systems component detail and assembly designs.
- Document processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of mechanical system parts and assemblies.
- Participate in technical review of supplier designs and non-conformances.
- Analyzes results and support design reviews.
- Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design.
- Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
- Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
- Supports system components'' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation.
- Trains others.
- Works under general direction.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Hydraulics or Environmental controls experience is a plus.
REQUIRED EDUCATION Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
