Chipton-Ross is seeking 8 Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Specialists 3's for a contract opportunity in Tukwila, WA.
100% onsiteBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Regular and predictable attendance is required. o 1+ years of education or experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test). o Proficient in MS Office Suite. o Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary. o Ability to travel domestically up to 15% of the time. o Ability to work in confined spaces.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is looking for Associate and Experienced Non-Destructive Test (NDT)Specialists to support the In-Service NDT team based in Tukwila, WA on first shift. o Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures. o Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process. o Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard. o Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards. o Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response. o Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. o 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT). o 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing. o 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET). o Experience with CAD Software. oExperience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.WORK HOURS:
MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT.PER CLIENT:

Possible OT opportunities.Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
