Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for an onsite contract position in Orlando, FL.



REQUIREMENTS Candidates must have experience utilizing IPC610, reading engineering drawings, and soldering. Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on experience (aerospace, defense, industrial, or automotive). Duties include repetitive and non-repetitive production tasks, on-line quality inspections per specifications, and the ability to disassemble, modify, rework, and/or reassemble assemblies in development.

RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking an experienced electromechanical assembler capable of performing IPC-compliant crimping, soldering, hardware installation (screws, bolts, nuts) and routing wires of all gauges on a variety of electromechanical sub-assemblies. The role requires reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions to create initial layouts, operate hand and power tools, jigs, saws, and torque equipment, and conduct continuity checks on work-in-process and finished parts.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
