Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Support Engineering Data Specialist 2's for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Power Plant, Avionics, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Environmental systems. 1-2 years of experience working with aircraft technical manuals, task relationships, and familiarity with Technical Orders (TO) and/or Technical Order System requirements, or equivalent. Ability to understand and interpret engineering data, with prior experience using Technical Orders to maintain military aircraft.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance and repair requirements, procedures, and instructions. Develop and apply fault isolation procedures and techniques. Create systems theory descriptions to ensure a common understanding of systems and components. Conduct engineering analyses to verify the accuracy of maintenance and repair data. Develop and support the generation and review of logistics support documentation, including:
Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP) Product Support Analysis Plans (PSAP) Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) Other logistics supportability analysis (LSA) documents.
Provide technical solutions to customers and evaluate their maintenance operations. Develop procedures and techniques to enable users to maintain and repair products effectively. Participate in organizational activities that influence the aerospace industry. Utilize various tools and common desktop software to gather, analyze, and report data. Collaborate closely with program management and engineering teams to accomplish tasks. Participate in or lead in-person and virtual working group meetings. Interact confidently and professionally with customers and suppliers. Work within budget and schedule constraints. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaborate effectively to reach mutually acceptable decisions across multiple engineering and support teams. Travel up to 10% to support program activities, including site visits.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience with Product Support Analysis (PSA), Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-HDBK-502A. Proficiency in using LSA software applications, models, and databases (e.g., Slicwave, EAGLE, Powerlog, Compass). Experience applying military and commercial maintenance manual publications, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, overhaul manuals, drawings, Technical Orders, parts illustrated manuals, and wiring diagrams for aircraft systems maintenance planning. Experience in commercial or weapon system integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical information and make informed decisions. Experience in commercial or military airworthiness certification. Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Skilled at reviewing military detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications. Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering. Ability to understand the big picture and inter-relationships among all positions and activities within a system, including the impact of changes in one area on others; capable of applying systems thinking to anticipate future events and improve performance. Minimum of 1 year of experience with cost account and project engineering management. Aircraft experience working with B-52 Bomber or AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System).REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMADDITIONAL:
OT/DOT: PossibleEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
