Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Support Engineering Data Specialists (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

· Minimum 5 years’ experience with the use of Flight series publication and forms (military/commercial derivative flight manuals) · Flight or flight training experience (pilot, flight engineer, flight training) · Demonstrates proficiency in use of military/commercial derivative flight series manuals. · Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specification, and system description documents. · Ability to work on multiple projects with varying level of requirements efficiently and effectively. · Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, in particular MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interprets and analyzes engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts to develop support solutions and products including support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions and maintenance, inspection, and support technical data. Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks and support resources. Develops support systems to achieve supportability requirements. Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and reports. Determines spares provisioning requirements and establishes recommendation for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking. Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components. Evaluates aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts. Restriction: For level 1 and 2 only, in locations where SPEEA representation applies, this job family will be covered by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. Develops, analyzes, collects, and stores various system support technical data elements and specification to evaluate and make recommendations. Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems. Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report. Determines spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers under a single contract type. Prepares and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components. Reviews and evaluates aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability for a single airline customer, aircraft type and system specialty. · Create and revise military flight documents (Aircraft Flight Manuals, Operating Manuals, Pilot Abbreviated Checklist, Operating Handbooks, Weapons Manuals, Weight & Balance. ·Collects, researches and analyzes engineering source data and specifications · Lead activities to define, document and maintain multiple flight manuals, checklist, and crew operations procedures. · Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts such as system engineers, technicians, flight test engineers, pilots, and publications personnel. · Develops technical publication project plan, budget and baseline schedules. · Conducts peer reviews of completed publication elements. Conduct peer reviews, quality checks and validation of technical publications · Actively interface with customers to support the development and accuracy of each product you are tasked to maintain.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

· Prior pilot, radar navigator, flight engineer or electronic warfare officer. · Flight crew experience · Experience using Arbortext Editor and Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) · Pilots license, or military aviation experience · Working knowledge of Military Specifications and Commercial Standards

REQUIRED EDUCATION Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +4 years' related work experience, or 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
