Chipton Ross is seeking an IT Procurement Consultant for a remote contract opportunity.



JOB SUMMARY:
As an IT Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the procurement of IT solutions and services for our client. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company's business objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field o 5-8 years of experience in IT procurement, with a focus on vendor management and contract negotiation o Strong knowledge of procurement laws and regulations, including GDPR o Excellent communication and negotiation skills o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills o Experience with procurement software and tools, such as Ariba or Coupa

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procurement Strategy and Planning o Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's business objectives and IT roadmap o Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential vendors and solutions o Collaborate with IT stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop procurement plans

Vendor Management o Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and stakeholders o Negotiate contracts and agreements that meet the company's needs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements o Manage vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Contract Management o Negotiate and manage contracts for IT solutions and services o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and HIPAA o Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures o Conduct risk analysis on contract language

Procurement Operations o Manage procurement processes, including RFIs, RFPs, and contract awards o Develop and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, agreements, and procurement plans o Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely payment processing o Collect and Document savings o Collect and digitally store contract documents.

Stakeholder Management o Collaborate with IT stakeholders, including IT leadership, project managers, and end-users o Provide procurement expertise and guidance to IT stakeholders o Communicate procurement plans and progress to stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

o Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field o Certification in procurement, such as CPM or CPSM o Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL o Knowledge of cloud-based procurement platforms and tools

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

WORK HOURS:

Full time, first shift


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
